Sorry for the delay in getting this to you. Our daughter was born and I have been runnning behind on everything since then.
My wife and I were in a situation where we needed to relocate from Birmingham. However, our house was in need of some repair. We had talked with realtors about the idea of selling the house in the state of needed repair. However, the realtors were not interested in selling the house. In addition, we world have lost money on the house through listing it with a realtor. We checked with several companies that would purchase homes in need of repair.
Walter and Action Group impressed us. He knew what needed to be done to repair the house and he was not intimidated with what needed to be done. When other companies were not sure how to proceed with our house, Walter had a plan of action. We were able to get out of our house with a time frame that was convenient for us. Action Group did exactly everything that they said thay were going to do. They sold our hosue in a matter of two months!! Action Group allowed us to move on with our needed move while not being strapped by our house in Birmingham, I highly recommend them to anyone.

I, Robbie Hall, found myself (single parent) in a financial bind as far as making a mortgage and keeping up my home. I was employed with a company that closed the doors. You probably get letters of praise and recommendation for Walter and Peggy Baker. This letter is to do just that. As you read you will see that our situation was probably very different than most.
Back in December 15, 2002 our son Joey had a light stroke. At the time I was separated from my wife and we lived in different living situations, with me living one place and my wife and son living elsewhere. My wife and I decided to reconcile our difference not only for us, but also for our son who is getting better and better day-by-day. He still has his share of bad days, but things could be worse. God is allowing our son to be here with us and we don't take that lightly. Without our son being unable to drive or work, we had to take on his portion of insuance and medication which without his insurance, some of his medication would cost hundreds of dollars. Believe me, we are not made out of money and I don't know too many people that are.
Things got tight and we had to declare chapter 7 bankruptcy. The house was going into foreclosure and was going to be sold at the courhouse steps. Then here comes what we like to call our light at the end of the tunnel. God must have known at that time what we needed was the special angels that he put in our lives, and they are Walter and Peggy Baker. From the first moment we met them they had feelings for us and understood our situation in regards to our son. They came along and took a load that was on all of us off, and they did it with professionalism and courtesy. If God hadn't sent them when he did we would have lost everything. That's what we all have to understand is that God knows exactly what time we need things because he works on his time and not ours. The question is would we recommend Walter and Peggy Baker to any one? The answer to that would be yes. Walter and Peggy are both understanding and caring. Thank you both for everything.
